Community Involvement

At HD Supply Electrical, investing in our communities is an important part of how we see ourselves evolving, growing and thriving. This means pursuing opportunities to support charitable endeavors and environmentally-conscious practices that make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work. Our efforts are concentrated on our associates, our communities, the environment and our business partners.

Responsibility to Associates – We’re committed to creating a work environment where the rights, needs and unique contributions of each associate is respected. We seek to enable and inspire growth and provide a clear path to career success.

Responsibility to Communities – We support our communities through grants, associate giving, community outreach and associate volunteer programs. We align our charitable giving to United Way and the agencies it supports, ensuring our associates can contribute their time and financial resources to multiple organizations that best fit their interests. We also support Habitat for Humanity, and our 49 branches are empowered to support local causes in their communities.

Responsibility to the Environment - Recognizing that sustainability is critical to protecting our environment and way of life, we believe our responsibility goes beyond green product offerings. In turn, we have incorporated a variety of green practices across the business, from installation of energy efficient lighting at many locations to implementation of comprehensive recycling programs.

Responsibility to Business Partners - We partner with suppliers that share our values and commitment to upholding ethical principles. Through our Supplier Diversity Program, we seek to build strong relationships with certified Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) and small businesses. Additionally, HD Supply’s Code of Business Ethics helps maintain the integrity of our dealings with our valued business partners.
